A tiny cozy puzzle game, seen from a slightly suspicious cat's point of view.

It's summer. Your human brought you from the city apartment to his family's old house, then left early "with the board thing". Now it's just you, a stranger called Grandma, and... another cat?

You are Lilly, a calico with opinions. The bedroom door is closed. Cats can open doors. You just need to get up to the handle.

What you do

  • Push the suitcase along the bed.
  • Climb the dresser.
  • Knock things off it. Obviously.
  • Hang off the door handle until the door gives in.

Stuck? Sniff things. The second sniff is always a little more helpful.

  • A face at the window. Who is that?
  • A sunny spot. Sit in it. Twice.

About

This is a short vertical slice: one room, plus a peek into the next. It's a prototype of a bigger idea: a handful of single-screen rooms, each solved with cat logic, building up to a very serious staring contest with Grandma's cat Toto.

Made with Unity and a home-grown Python pixel-art pipeline: the rooms and most of the art are generated from code, and every puzzle is checked by a reachability solver so there are (hopefully) no cheeky shortcuts. All art and the pixel font are original; no third-party assets.

Lilly is a real cat. She approves of nothing.
